Accounts and access
When you register, we store your name, email, a securely hashed password and login sessions. Session records may include IP address and browser information for account security. Account records are separate from the seven-day media deletion schedule and remain until you request account assistance or deletion through support. Signing in lets you link orders from your current browser to your account. We do not attach orders merely because a payment email matches an account.
Your portraits and films
Picking a photo previews it in your browser. When orders are open and you continue to checkout, two re-encoded portraits are saved privately on our server. After payment they are sent to fal.ai and its model providers to make your scene and film. We do not display them in a public gallery.
Retention
Requesting a free AI preview sends the selected photos to fal.ai and its model provider for a still image, even though there is no payment. Preview input photos are processed in memory and are not stored as files on our server. The resulting watermarked preview is private to your account and expires after 24 hours. A compact request and quota record remains to prevent repeat submissions; expired image fingerprints and provider request IDs are removed by the worker. Simply opening the local photo layout does not send photos to the provider.
Our background worker deletes unpaid media after 24 hours and completed or refunded order media after 7 days. Download your film before that period ends. Order and payment references are retained for accounting and payment reconciliation. fal.ai and its upstream providers have their own retention policies; we cannot promise immediate deletion from their systems.
Payments and your device
Stripe handles checkout, billing details and card data. We store payment references, not card numbers. An essential HttpOnly cookie links your orders to this browser for 30 days. Clearing it or switching browsers will remove your direct access to My films; contact support with your Stripe receipt to recover access. No advertising trackers are installed in this version.
Visit analytics
Our own aggregate reporting records public page paths, broad referral categories, device size and creation-step events. It uses a random browser-tab session identifier that resets after 30 minutes of inactivity. We do not put your email, portraits, payment information, full referring URLs or IP address into this analytics record. Events are retained for up to 90 days; known bots and browsers sending Do Not Track are excluded.
When enabled, optional Google Analytics loads only after you choose “Allow analytics”. It measures public pages and creation events, with advertising features disabled. Account and admin pages are excluded. Google processes analytics data under its own privacy policy. You can change your choice using the analytics preference button on this page. Declining Google Analytics does not affect your ability to use the studio.
